Black fatherhood is revolutionary.
Throughout history, in so many ways the Black family has been torn apart. This was done by removing the father from the household. Unfortunately, it’s something that still tears families apart in society today. Therefore, the pain of brokenness and dysfunction still exists within the black community.

As a result, children are currently growing up in dysfunctional homes without the presence of a father.

This is detrimental because Fathers are the contributing factors to the well-being of a child’s life. Trust me, they bring more to the table than just child support. Fathers bring stability, protection, and security. Fathers are truly the backbone of the family. They confidently lay the foundation down for the family.

I am so passionate about fatherhood and father empowerment because I grew up without having my father consistently in my life. I know firsthand how it feels as a child not to have an active father present. Therefore, I refuse to allow that generational curse to continue to destroy my generation! Through the adversity and scrutiny that Black fathers get, I stand up for fathers. I advocate for them because I want them to understand that they can take their rightful place back in the home with their families.

Stand for something or fall for anything! Be conscientious about this time that we’re living in! Don’t fall prey to the generational curses and allow them to destroy YOUR generation!
